Gyang Khang Chotrul Rinpoche bestowed Amitabha Empowerment of Namchoe tradition, Koncho Chedue (Embodiment of Three Jewels) Long Life Empowerment, coincident to the auspicious day of the Turning of the Wheel of the Dharma by Lord Buddha, and Life Release Ceremony at Palyul Retreat Centre (Upstate New York) The pheasants released have been introduced in North America for many years. Research shows they can survive in woods with no negative impact to the local environment. Each one has a license, a tag approved by NY State for release. Hopefully this will protect them during hunting season and they will live happily after here!
